I'm getting fat just thinking about that place. Mmmm, dessert. But yes, you should totally check out Spread, and not just because of the bubble chair. The food was fantastic. The oatmeal was unlike anything I've ever had.

Off to send you my address right now! Woo! Is the E Street show unlistenable, or just not as good?

i think i'm going to have to try spread just by virtue of the bubble chairs. i'm a sucker for interesting food and quirky interior design. i went on a little class field trip to extraordinary desserts yesterday and practically had a design/foodgasm. the first thing you see when you walk into the place is rows and rows of exquisite cakes. extraordinary, even.

also, eric posted pictures of our e street gig. (robyn played percussion for two songs in our second set, which is why she's up there.) the recording from that night wasn't so great because of our weird set-up, but i will soon be mailing select listeners a copy of our inaugural twiggs performance (the one that didn't happen in a massage parlor). e-mail me your mailing address, if you are interested.
