::giggling:: I was wondering about that myself. If the gender question had been optional, I so would’ve picked province.

I did a double-take on that, too….maybe the gender thing has to do with marketing research? Who are we reaching, who should we target, etc.?

My thought is that it’s for genderless Canadians.

Or those wishing to be “provincial”? Or those who wished they lived in Canada or some made-up
fantasy land? (Like, “I’m the Archduke of L33thuania.”)
